Kevin Swett: Sports Photography

Soccer: Kevin began shooting his daughters soccer games in Washington State and quickly became hooked. Now Kevin and his team can be seen at major youth soccer games and tournaments. At the larger tournaments Kevin brings additional photographers and the images are processed in a mobile studio. Recently he was asked to shoot a 75-team soccer tournament in Shelton, Washington. Over the three-day event, all 75 teams were photographed and some 10,000 images were shown on his web site for viewing and sale. During that month, the Kevin Swett website had over 320,000 hits.

Bike Racing: Talk about fast! We started shooting bike races last year. Its amazing the speed and control these athletes have. The week before the event we spend considerable time setting up shooting locations at the track to insure the very finest images. All images are processed and on the Kevin Swett web site in two days.

Rodeo: Kevin’s favorite. Several years ago we began shooting the National Finals College Rodeo in Casper Wyoming. I didn’t have any idea we had college rodeo, but what an event. Athletes come from all of the states to compete. The intense competition combined with the intense level of the competitors brings excitement to entire arena. We photographed everything from bulls to goats to the awards ceremony and foundation auction.

Baseball, football, basketball and softball: If it’s a sport, we shoot it. Prior preparation and having the finest sports photography equipment insures results that all will enjoy. Kevin’s team utilizes Canon’s line of professional sports cameras. These incredible cameras have a shutter speed between 8 and 10 frames per second. Combine the speed of the camera with the speed of the Canon professional “L” series lenses and well place shooting locations and the fun begins.
